The Dirty Old Man
Oh those men chasing younger women … you know the ones, the ones old enough to be your father, or even worse, your grandfather! They ride around in fancy, expensive cars to satisfy their mid life crisis, are successful, sometimes handsome and because of this they feel like they deserve a hot young miss to further make everyone else jealous. These men are quite common. You walk by and these men whistle, they try and pick you up, you see them out in the night clubs looking all dapper and buying women drinks. They always have a different woman on their arm … some are even married but their wife, being closer to his age, just doesn’t do it for them anymore.
Why, they are rich and have so much to offer, they can have ANY woman they want … with a little help from, ahem, a little blue pill of course. There are many public figures who fit into this mold … some that come to mind are Hugh Hefner, Dominique Strauss-Khan and of course Silvio Berlusconi. Just put their names in any search engine and you will find stories of their escapades. My favorite stories are of Mr. Berlusconi and his “bunga bunga” parties. But while we condemn some, others, like Mr. Playboy Hefner are celebrated. So is being a dirty old man a good or a bad thing? Well, depends who you ask. For every dirty old man, there are at least a dozen greedy gold digging young women who are ripe for the picking. So who’s to blame? Is there a need to blame? Not sure.
Fair Share of Dirty Old Men
I’ve had my fair share of dirty old men giving me the eye or licking their lips, calling be beautiful or even trying to ask me out. My response? “Eww no!”. I don’t care if they are millionaires, I don’t even care if they are attractive … I just can’t do it. I just can’t. Last week when going for a run in my neighbourhood, I encountered quite a few dirty old men, some just stood and stared, some called out and one even stopped his fancy car. What did I do? Run faster! Don’t misunderstand me, there’s nothing wrong with older men dating younger women if it’s real love on both ends. But there is something wrong with using someone … even if it is mutual. Don’t be that guy that everyone stares at, and no it’s not a stare of admiration, we’re judging … yes, judging. Dear dirty old man, these ego boosts are just temporary and you’re left empty and alone, sometimes even cleaned out financially. So go out there and find TRUE LOVE with someone who truly wants to be with you and only you and be fulfilled. That goes for everyone … be happy and that’s all that matters. And if you’re gonna be a dirty old man … then aim for George Clooney as a role model!
