These posts are meant to lead you be your most empowered self and help you overcome those things that are holding you back from reaching your goals. Some of this might resonate with you, or not, and I’m not here to judge anyone or their actions, only to give you something to think about.
Stress is a natural part of life. It is our “flight or fight” response to the stressors we encounter on a daily basis. Regardless of the type of stress, it can have a negative impact on your life. When you allow stress in, it is hard to keep it out of every aspect of your life. Stress can snowball and takes hostages with it. So you need to commit to keeping it away.
Just as you let stress in, you can also block it completely. Different activities and commitments can help you with that. Surrounding yourself with people who make you feel good like friends and family has a calming effect. Something else I recommend is keeping a “Feel Good” journal where you write your daily affirmations and gratitude. Health and lifestyle changes can help as well. You need to find what works for you, but it starts with a commitment to be mindful of your stressors and eventually eliminating them as much as you can.
